SPREE Interactive is the world leader in the category of location based entertainment using virtual reality targeting kids and adults alike. We are building a real-life metaverse. We change the way the new generation of users is playing, learning and sporting. With a consecutive growth of 250% YoY for the last three years our revenue in 2022 is EUR 6.5 Million with having served more than 5 Million plays across 100+ locations globally. The total revenue of the B2C ticket sales for our operator clients is at EUR 25 Million in 2022. We broke the world record by having entertained more than 10.000 users at an event, proving that SPREE delivers the highest user throughput attractions. Addressing the $ 80bn attractions market from which the VR segment grows at a 32% CAGR puts us in a pole position to grow for the next years. Our business model locks the clients in year one with a 50%+ gross margin and subsequently we sell content subscriptions at a 85% gross margin. The ARR in 2022 is at EUR 1 Million and represents 16% of total revenue, this % is growing to up to 50% over the years. Our unique attractions which are based on our proprietary tech stack (protected by 2 patent families) have won a total of 8 global awards, the most recent being the industry leading AWE Augmented World Expo Auggie Award for Best In Location Based Entertainment in 2022. In order to sustain the explosive global growth we need to invest into execution capabilities (above all in our core market the US) as well as strengthen our content pipeline by more and higher quality content (incl. IP based content). After having raising EUR 8 Million and becoming profitable in 2020, SPREE is raising its EUR 12 Million Series A in order to achieve the next level of global expansion and reach a network of 600+ locations. EUR 7 Million out of the raise s committed and SPREE is in negotiation over the lead investor. The raise should close late 2022.

Plamen Russev has been appointed Goodwill Ambassador for Digital Affairs of his home country – Republic of Bulgaria and a member of European Commission’ BOF.
Dr. Russev’ work and impact have been recognised and awarded by governments, associations and NGOs along with 2 honorary doctorates from Universities in Europe and South America. Plamen Russev is featured in hundreds of international and local media including The Economist, Bloomberg, CNBCe, Forbes, Venture Beat, CNN to name a few.
Dr. Russev is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Webit Foundation and host of Webit Virtual.
